How you can Help
You can help by looking out for penguin prints, taking part in Penguin week beach survey or contacting me with your historic accounts of little blues in Taranaki.
Please check out the penguin prints on the foot print page. Look out for these prints when you are out for a walk on the beach especially if it is a low tide in the morning. Little Blues generally make a direct line from the land to the sea.
Penguin week will run from the October 9th 2010 - October 13th 2010. This week will involve volunteers taking part in a more organised beach survey. Survey sheets are available for download here or you can email me at taranakipenguins@gmail.com and I will post you hard copies. You might opt to survey your favourite local beaches or be assigned beaches near you.
